It has been a long time coming, but finally as of Friday the 13th of August 2021 Christchurch Eco reopened the recycling station at Fenview.
It has taken a long time, I’ve been dealing with a little bit of illness, but also study has been super challenging, and just general life stuff eats away at the time. As everyone knows I run this on my own and I do not get paid so I have to priorities what is happening in my life.
Now the plan is to design and build a new fancy station to replace this, one that meets COVID 19 safety rules should we end up with another lockdown. But like all designs they take time, so this is a good stop gap for now.
